What is your current ministry? I am retired and 94 years old.

What do you love most about being a Dominican Sister of Sinsinawa? Our life of prayer (communal and private). Our presence—being with each other to pray, to share, to celebrate, to support, to enjoy, and to love!

What has been your most poignant or memorable moment through the years? My ministry in Trinidad—being with our Sisters at the House of Discernment, meeting families of our Sisters, the holy leaders in the parishes, and our connection with our Dominican Brothers. So many connections, so many people of inspiration, of caring, of helpfulness, and of loving. Blessings in abundance day after day! Thank you.

What is the best advice you have either received or given? Presence! Being present to each other and to everyone we meet. By “presence,” I mean being attentive! Getting into the “world” of the other! Really listening! Blessings!

What is something about you that you are most proud of or that not many would know about you? My devotion, my love, my gratitude, and my delight for my wonderful family!

Who has been the most influential person(s) in your life and why? My holy, loving, self-giving, caring MOTHER!

Any additional musings? Gratitude! I’m deeply grateful for my holy, loving, generous family. And, I’m deeply blessed for my vocation of being a Dominican Sister of Sinsinawa! Grateful and prayerful!
